Services4 questions

What Audrey offers

  • Three core services are available: Individualized Behaviour Support (direct 1:1 work with your child), Parent Coaching (structured sessions to build your confidence and skills at home), and Transition Support (preparing for school entry, grade changes, or new environments).

All services are delivered by Audrey Garbrah, RBT and M.ADS (ABA) Candidate, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).

  • Audrey works with autistic children and youth across the Greater Toronto Area — in homes, schools, and community settings. Sessions are tailored to each child's strengths, communication style, and family goals.

If you're unsure whether a service is the right fit, the free 15–20 minute intro consultation is the best place to start. There's no obligation and no pressure.

  • Sessions are offered in the home, at school (with school permission), or in community settings depending on the service and your child's goals. Location is discussed during the intake process and can be adjusted as needs change.

  • Yes — all services are grounded in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), the most evidence-based approach for supporting autistic children. Audrey uses naturalistic, play-based methods alongside structured behaviour protocols, always following BCBA guidance.

Autistic Minds Belong takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach — the goal is never to make a child appear "less autistic," but to build skills that genuinely improve their quality of life and their family's.
Pricing4 questions

Fees and payment

  • Individualized Behaviour Support is $69 per hour.

Parent Coaching is available in three session lengths: 30 minutes ($54), 45 minutes ($74), or 60 minutes ($94).

Transition Support is priced based on the scope of the plan — contact Audrey for a custom quote.

  • Services are private pay only — Autistic Minds Belong does not bill insurance directly and is not currently enrolled as an OAP (Ontario Autism Program) service provider.

An official receipt is provided after every session. These receipts can be submitted to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan's coverage for ABA or behaviour therapy services.

  • Possibly, yes. Families may be eligible for the Medical Expense Tax Credit or the Disability Tax Credit through the Canada Revenue Agency. Respite funding through your local CLRI or developmental services office may also apply.

Audrey provides official receipts for every session, which you can use when filing. Consult a tax professional for guidance specific to your situation.

  • Payment details and scheduling are confirmed during the intake process. An official receipt is issued after each session. If you have questions about payment arrangements, bring them up during the free intro call — Audrey is happy to discuss what works for your family.

Getting started3 questions

Booking and first steps

  • The first step is a free 15–20 minute intro consultation call. It's a low-pressure conversation to learn about your child, your goals, and whether Autistic Minds Belong is the right fit.

You can book through the contact page or reach out directly by phone or email.

  • If it's a good fit, Audrey will outline a plan — which service makes sense, how often sessions would occur, and what the first few weeks might look like. You'll receive a service agreement before anything begins, and you're never locked into a long-term commitment.

  • Frequency depends on the service and your child's goals. Behaviour support sessions are often weekly or bi-weekly. Parent coaching can be scheduled as needed. Transition support is typically time-limited around a specific change. Audrey will recommend a cadence during intake and adjust as you go.

Approach3 questions

How Audrey works

  • It means the work starts from the position that autism is a natural part of human diversity — not a problem to fix. Goals are set collaboratively with families and focus on skills that genuinely improve the child's life: communication, independence, safety, and connection.

Audrey does not use approaches that aim to suppress autistic traits or make a child appear neurotypical. The focus is always on the child's wellbeing and the family's quality of life.

  • Yes. As an RBT and M.ADS (ABA) Candidate, Audrey works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). All behaviour programs are developed and overseen by a BCBA, and Audrey implements them with fidelity. This is standard practice in ABA service delivery.

  • Significantly. Parents and caregivers are partners, not bystanders. Audrey shares progress updates regularly, explains the reasoning behind strategies, and builds in parent coaching components so skills transfer into everyday routines — not just session time. You'll always know what's happening and why.
