- Is behaviour support covered by OHIP or insurance?
- Behaviour support services are not covered by OHIP. All services are private pay. I provide official receipts for every session, which you can use when filing your taxes — medical expenses for disability-related supports may be eligible for the Disability Tax Credit or the Medical Expense Tax Credit. Check with your tax advisor for details.
- Do you provide receipts?
- Yes — I provide an official receipt for every session. Families can submit these receipts when filing their taxes. Depending on your situation, you may be able to claim eligible medical or disability-related expenses. I'm happy to provide any additional documentation you need.
- How many sessions will my child need?
- Every child is different. After an initial assessment, I'll recommend a session frequency based on your child's goals and your family's capacity. Most families start with one to three sessions per week and adjust as progress is made.
- Do you offer a free consultation?
- Yes — I offer a free 15–20 minute phone or video consultation for all new families. It's a chance to talk about your child, your goals, and whether my services are the right fit. No pressure, no commitment.
- Are sessions in-home or at a clinic?
- Individualized behaviour support sessions take place in your home or community — wherever your child lives and learns. Parent coaching sessions can be in-home or virtual, depending on what works best for your family.
- What areas do you serve?
- I serve families in Toronto, North York, Scarborough, and surrounding communities in the Greater Toronto Area. Virtual parent coaching sessions are available to families across Ontario.
